A lot of new photographers will often put their flash on their camera (or worse, use the underpowered flash built into their camera). To get the really nice images, you often want your light source off camera axis, and often diffused.

Quick note regaurding publicity for miss online

These days, I know that many of you are computer savvy. However, if you were unaware of how to drive site traffic, in order to get miss online's popularity up, I have a quick suggestion: Any time you post an image ANYWHERE that you also plan on posting to your miss online account, make sure to put a DIRECT link to your miss online page or even miss online home page. Just a thought for the newbie photographers!

One thing about taking good digital photos is how well you know your gear. The second most important step to quality images is knowledge of light and how to use it! shooting on your cameras auto mode just wont cut it! Try getting familiar with manual mode! Natural light can be used to accident a persons features ,but if used wrong, the prettiest person can look uuuuuugly!
